Nuveen Flexible Income Fund Class I (NWQIX) Research
The fund aims to achieve both consistent income generation and capital growth. It allocates a minimum of 80% of its total assets to investments that produce income. A substantial portion, specifically at least 65% of its net assets, is directed towards preferred stock and various debt instruments. There are no limitations on the fund's ability to invest in lower-rated, higher-yielding bonds, frequently referred to as "high-yield" or "junk" bonds. Furthermore, it has the flexibility to commit up to half of its net assets to U.S. dollar-denominated securities issued by companies based outside the United States.
