Nuveen Flexible Income Fund Class C (NWQCX) Research
The Nuveen Flexible Income Fund Class C strives to deliver a consistent stream of current income alongside capital growth for its investors. To achieve this, the fund allocates a minimum of 80% of its net assets to instruments that generate income. More specifically, at least 65% of its portfolio is concentrated in preferred stocks and various debt securities. The fund has complete discretion regarding its exposure to below-investment-grade securities, commonly known as "high-yield" or "junk" bonds, with no upper limit on such investments. Additionally, it may commit up to half (50%) of its net assets to U.S. dollar-denominated securities issued by entities outside the United States.
