Columbia Small Cap Value Fund II Class A (COVAX) Research

Typically, and under ordinary market circumstances, the fund dedicates a minimum of 80% of its net assets (including any capital borrowed for investment purposes) to equity securities of companies. These companies possess market capitalizations comparable to those found within the Russell 2000® Value Index at the time of acquisition, and are selected by the investment manager based on their perceived undervaluation and potential for long-term appreciation. A maximum of 20% of its total assets may be allocated to international securities, including depositary receipts. While primarily focusing on common stocks, the fund also has the flexibility to invest in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).
