Eaton Vance Emerging Markets Debt Opportunities - Class A (EADOX) Research
The primary objective of this investment vehicle is to achieve overall financial growth. Typically, at least 80% of the fund's net assets (including any capital obtained through borrowing for investment purposes) are allocated to either income-generating instruments from companies or national governments in developing economies, or to financial derivatives whose value is linked to the currencies, interest rates, or other securities of these same emerging markets. Strict limits are placed on short-selling: the fund's short positions in emerging markets will not surpass 20% of its net assets, and its short exposure to the euro is capped at 30% of net assets, after factoring in any offsetting long investments. It's important to note that this is a non-diversified fund.
