This fund primarily dedicates at least 80% of its total assets to purchasing stocks of companies that fall into the small and mid-capitalization categories. Small-cap firms are defined by market values comparable to those within the Russell 2500™ Index, and mid-cap companies possess market capitalizations akin to those in the Russell Midcap® Index, with these classifications assessed at the time of investment. On occasion, the fund may concentrate a substantial portion of its portfolio in specific industries, including, but not limited to, information technology, consumer discretionary, healthcare, and industrials.
