This fund is designed to achieve significant long-term capital appreciation alongside a consistent current income stream. Ordinarily, at least 80% of the fund's total assets (including any capital obtained through borrowing for investment) are allocated to equity securities of U.S. companies with medium-sized market capitalizations. The classification of these companies is based on their market value falling within the range of businesses included in the Russell Midcap® Index at the time of purchase.
