This fund aims to generate significant capital growth over an extended period. Typically, it allocates a minimum of 80% of its portfolio to equity securities, such as common stocks, of small-capitalization companies. These small-cap firms are identified as those with a market value under $5 billion at the point of acquisition, or whose market capitalization aligns with the scope of companies found in widely recognized small-cap indices like the Russell 2000®, S&P Small Cap 600 Index, or the Dow Jones U.S. Small-Cap Total Stock Market Index. Furthermore, the fund has the option to invest in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).
