The Starch segment offers a range of starches, saccharification products, ethanol, and by-products like animal feed and fertilizers, catering to industries from food and paper to textiles, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and petroleum. Lastly, the Fruit segment produces fruit preparations for the dairy, ice cream, and baked goods industries, alongside fruit juice concentrates, pure juices, natural aromas, and beverage bases for the beverage industry. Beyond its industrial operations, Südzucker AG is also involved in agricultural activities, cultivating crops such as wheat, sugar beet, corn, and rapeseed. The company is a subsidiary of Süddeutsche Zuckerrübenverwertungs-Genossenschaft eG.
