Additionally, Spectra Systems manufactures high-speed currency authentication sensors, quality control equipment for the production of both paper and polymer banknotes, and machinery for security printing and hologram manufacturing. The company, initially known as Spectra Science Corporation, rebranded to Spectra Systems Corporation in June 2001.
