AB Cap Fund, Inc. - AB Small Cap Growth Portfolio - Class A (QUASX) Research

The primary objective of this fund is to achieve long-term growth of capital. It primarily invests in a diversified portfolio of common stocks issued by companies with relatively modest market capitalizations when compared to the overall U.S. equity market. A substantial portion, specifically at least 80% of its net assets, is allocated to shares of these smaller businesses. For the purpose of this strategy, "smaller companies" are defined as those whose market capitalization, at the time of acquisition, falls within the bottom 20% of the total U.S. equity market. Crucially, this calculation excludes companies with market capitalizations below $10 million. The fund maintains the flexibility to invest across any sector, industry, or company, and may utilize various types of equity securities that offer potential for capital appreciation.
