Janus Henderson Small Cap Value Fund Class A (JDSAX) Research
This fund principally aims to meet its investment targets by committing capital to the common shares of smaller businesses identified by its portfolio managers as undervalued. Under typical conditions, a minimum of 80% of its total net assets (plus any capital acquired through borrowing for investment purposes) is channeled into equities of small companies. A "small company" is specifically defined as one whose market capitalization, at the point of initial acquisition, registers below the average of the highest market capitalizations within the Russell 2000® Value Index over the preceding twelve months. The fund also holds the flexibility to allocate up to 20% of its net assets to cash or highly liquid equivalent holdings.
