Loomis Sayles Funds - Global Bond Fund Retail Class (Trust I) (LSGLX) Research
The fund aims to deliver a robust overall investment return by balancing substantial current income with potential capital growth. Typically, at least 80% of its net assets—including any funds borrowed for investment purposes—will be allocated to fixed-income instruments. This allocation encompasses bonds, notes, debentures, and loans, as well as other investments that Loomis Sayles identifies as possessing similar economic attributes. While the portfolio primarily focuses on investment-grade debt securities from around the globe, it retains the flexibility to invest up to one-fifth (20%) of its assets in lower-rated fixed-income securities, often referred to as "junk bonds."
