Gabelli Gold Fund Class I (GLDIX) Research
This fund generally commits at least 80% of its total assets (including any borrowed capital) to equity investments in companies, both international and domestic, primarily engaged in gold-related activities or holding gold bullion. The investment manager seeks out stocks that are currently undervalued but show promising growth potential. Due to the fact that most of the world's gold production occurs outside the United States, the advisor expects to allocate a considerable portion of the fund's holdings to non-U.S. issuers, including those situated in developing markets.
