The fund manager intends to allocate a minimum of 80% of the portfolio's net assets—inclusive of any capital raised through borrowing—to various types of debt instruments. Its investments typically span across at least four distinct nations categorized as emerging markets. The portfolio may also incorporate hybrid financial instruments with exposure to developing economies. Up to one-fifth (20%) of its net assets could be channeled into corporate securities that have experienced a default. Furthermore, the fund retains the flexibility to utilize a broad spectrum of complex financial instruments, such as options, various forms of swaps (including credit default swaps), futures contracts, structured products, and both foreign currency futures and forward contracts.
