Calamos Evolving World Growth Fund Class A (CNWGX) Research
The primary objective of this fund is to achieve substantial long-term capital appreciation. To accomplish this, it strategically allocates a minimum of 40% of its total assets to international securities. Specifically, the advisor commits at least 35% of the portfolio to equity, convertible, or fixed-income instruments issued by companies domiciled in emerging market nations. The remaining capital offers flexibility, allowing investment in equity, convertible, or debt securities of companies globally, even if not based in emerging markets, provided the advisor determines that a significant portion (generally 20% or more) of their assets or revenues is derived from emerging market countries. Additionally, the fund may invest in sovereign and agency debt issued by developed market countries.
