This fund principally allocates a minimum of 65% of its net assets to high-quality, U.S. dollar-denominated fixed-income instruments, whose investment-grade status is determined at the time of purchase. It possesses the discretion to commit up to 35% of its holdings to speculative, high-yield debt, often termed "junk bonds," which can include distressed securities that have defaulted. Furthermore, up to 25% of its total assets may be directed towards international debt obligations.
