While offering this magnified growth potential, it concurrently protects investors from the initial 9% of any market downturns during that same period. For losses surpassing this 9% threshold, shareholders generally experience a single (1x) exposure to those declines. Although it operates on these annual outcome periods, the ETF is suitable for long-term investment, as its features and protections automatically recalibrate approximately once a year.
