Meanwhile, the Landbased segment offers innovative technologies such as Biogreen, a proprietary pyrolysis process converting biomass, plastics, and waste into energy, and Safesteril, a patented system for sterilizing food and pharmaceutical ingredients, alongside robotic solutions for waste recycling. Serving a broad clientele including the cruise, aquaculture, land-based industrial, and utilities sectors, VOW ASA has also forged a strategic alliance with Repsol, S.A. to develop applications for clean, renewable energy production and CO2 emission reduction. The company rebranded from Scanship Holding ASA to VOW ASA in January 2020.
