The fund's primary objective is to allocate the vast majority of its capital to the common stocks that constitute the S&P 500® Equal Weight Index. It may also utilize various financial instruments, including derivatives, designed to mimic the economic performance of these equity holdings. This particular index provides an equal-weighted representation of the companies within the standard S&P 500® Index, which itself monitors the performance of large-capitalization U.S. businesses. Among the derivative instruments the fund is authorized to use are futures contracts.
