Under typical market conditions, the fund's manager aims to fulfill its investment objectives by allocating a minimum of 80% of its total assets (which may include funds acquired through borrowing) to the securities that comprise its underlying benchmark. This benchmark, known as the ICE BofA Current 5-Year US Treasury Index, is unique in that it consists solely of the most recently issued 5-year U.S. Treasury bond.
