Thrivent Ultra Short Bond ETF (TUSB) Research

The TUSB fund, an actively managed exchange-traded fund, offers investors focused access to a specific segment of the U.S. fixed income market. It primarily allocates its assets to very short-duration, investment-grade debt instruments issued within the United States. Its diversified portfolio may encompass corporate and government bonds, asset-backed securities (ABS), mortgage-backed securities (MBS), preferred stocks, collateralized debt obligations (CDOs), and various other income-generating debt obligations. Furthermore, the fund has the flexibility to hold a limited portion of its holdings in dollar-denominated debt issued by international companies. To adhere to its ultra-short mandate, TUSB targets a dollar-weighted average effective maturity of two years or less. The selection process involves thorough fundamental analysis and other proprietary research methods to evaluate the intrinsic value of potential investments. As an actively managed vehicle, all investment decisions are made at the sole discretion of the fund's adviser. To effectively manage portfolio duration and mitigate interest rate risk, TUSB may employ derivative instruments, such as U.S. Treasury futures contracts. The overarching objective of the fund is to generate a substantial level of current income for its shareholders.
