This division serves customers in the financial services, retail credit, insurance, automotive, collections, public sector, and communications industries through direct and partner channels. Lastly, the Consumer Interactive segment offers individual consumers access to credit reports and scores, credit monitoring, identity theft protection and recovery, and financial management solutions. These services empower individuals to oversee their personal finances and take precautions against identity theft. Products are accessible via online and mobile interfaces, as well as through various direct and indirect distribution methods. TransUnion's global footprint spans approximately 30 nations and territories, including regions such as North America, Latin America, Europe, Africa, India, and the Asia Pacific. The enterprise, initially known as TransUnion Holding Company, Inc., officially adopted its current name, TransUnion, in March 2015.
