This fund is designed to commit a minimum of 80% of its net assets (inclusive of any borrowed funds utilized for investment) to high-yield fixed income instruments. Its primary focus is on fixed income securities rated below investment grade, commonly referred to as "junk bonds." The portfolio will incorporate a diverse range of these higher-risk assets, including but not limited to corporate bonds and debentures, convertible and preferred securities, zero coupon obligations, and segments of collateralized debt obligations (CDOs) and collateralized loan obligations (CLOs).
