The primary objective of this fund is to achieve substantial capital appreciation over the long term. Under normal circumstances, the fund commits a minimum of 40% of its total assets (measured at the time of investment) to equity securities. These equities must be from companies either incorporated or headquartered outside the United States, or from those that generate the majority of their assets or revenues from non-U.S. countries. Additionally, the fund has the flexibility to invest in high-quality corporate or government bonds, and may utilize foreign exchange futures or currency forward contracts.
