Invesco Rochester New York Municipals Fund Class A (RMUNX) Research
This fund commits a minimum of 80% of its net assets (which may include borrowed capital for investment) to debt instruments whose earnings, according to the issuer's legal counsel, are free from regular federal individual income tax and, where relevant, the fund's state income tax. Its primary holdings consist of municipal bonds from New York, specifically selected because their interest payments are considered exempt from both federal and New York personal income taxes, as attested by the issuer's legal advisors. Up to a quarter (25%) of the fund's total assets may be allocated to lower-rated debt, often known as "junk bonds."
