SMI 3Fourteen REAL Asset Allocation ETF (RAA) Research
The RAA ETF was established to supersede external holdings within a mutual fund launched in 2013, which employed an identical investment strategy. This transition allows the Issuer to manage its own ETF and capture a greater share of the expense ratio. RAA will construct its portfolio using other ETFs and mutual funds, thereby gaining access to asset classes such as equities, fixed income, commodities, alternative investments, and cash. The weighting of these assets is determined by the Issuer's analysis of prevailing market conditions, price momentum, capital flows, statistical regression, and historical volatility. Daily oversight of market dynamics leads to vigorous trading activity, potentially generating substantial portfolio turnover. There are minimal specific guidelines or limitations governing the selection of underlying funds, underscoring the ETF's considerable freedom to invest across any sector, at any time, and utilize virtually any strategic approach.
