T. Rowe Price U.S. Treasury Long-Term Index Fund (PRULX) Research
This fund's primary goal is to replicate the investment performance of its benchmark, the Bloomberg U.S. Long Treasury Bond Index. It achieves this by allocating at least 80% of its net assets to the same securities found within that index, and a minimum of 80% of its net assets to U.S. Treasury securities, which are guaranteed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government. The target index itself comprises U.S. dollar-denominated, fixed-rate debt instruments issued by the U.S. Treasury that have maturities of ten years or more.
