PIMCO Long-Term Real Return Fund Class INSTL (PRAIX) Research
This fund's primary objective is to achieve the highest possible real return while maintaining prudent investment management. It commits at least 80% of its net assets to inflation-indexed bonds with diverse maturities, issued by U.S. and non-U.S. governments, their associated entities, or corporate bodies. Any remaining assets not allocated to inflation-indexed bonds may be invested in other types of fixed-income instruments. While the portfolio primarily consists of investment-grade securities, it retains the flexibility to invest up to 20% of its total assets in higher-yielding, lower-rated bonds, often referred to as "junk bonds," provided they carry a rating of B or higher from Moody's, S&P, or Fitch, or are deemed by PIMCO to be of equivalent quality if unrated.
