T. Rowe Price Small-Cap Stock Fund Advisor Class (PASSX) Research
The fund's core objective is to achieve substantial capital appreciation over an extended period. Typically, the fund allocates at least 80% of its net assets, including any capital acquired through borrowing for investment, to the equity securities of small companies. The management team defines a small company based on its market capitalization. Such companies must either possess a market cap that falls within or below the current range of constituents in the Russell 2000® Index or the S&P SmallCap 600 Index. Alternatively, a company is categorized as small if its market capitalization is less than the three-year average maximum market capitalization of firms within either index, using data as of December 31 for the three preceding years.
