The company operates through two distinct divisions: the Electronics Group and the Power Group. The Electronics Group concentrates on developing and manufacturing custom electronic components and sub-assemblies. Its product portfolio encompasses remote control units, intercommunication systems, display interfaces, various input devices such as keyboards, keypads, and pointing devices, operator control panels, and command display units. This segment also delivers services for the design and improvement of LCD display modules. Conversely, the Power Group is responsible for designing and producing a wide array of power systems. These include standard commercial power units, AC power supplies, frequency converters, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), armament power systems, commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) power solutions, and power inverters. Before its current designation, the company was known as Orbit Instrument Corp., officially changing its name to Orbit International Corp. in July 1991.
