OOSB is an investment vehicle designed to offer combined exposure to the S&P 500 index and Bitcoin. Its primary objective is long-term capital growth, achieved through a leveraged strategy employing US-listed futures, pooled investment vehicles, and various forms of collateral. The fund's methodology aims for amplified market participation, targeting a notional 100% exposure to each of the S&P 500 and Bitcoin, resulting in an effective 200% aggregate exposure. This means a $1 investment in OOSB seeks to deliver the returns of $1 in the S&P 500 and an additional $1 in Bitcoin. Notably, OOSB does not hold Bitcoin directly. Instead, its Bitcoin exposure is derived from the price of the nearest or second-nearest expiring Bitcoin futures contracts. Should other Bitcoin-linked investments be utilized, their value is determined by averaging. To execute its strategy, the fund operates through a wholly owned subsidiary located in the Cayman Islands, which allocates capital across futures, exchange-traded products (ETPs) with similar underlying exposures, equities, and highly liquid cash instruments. As an actively managed ETF, OOSB's portfolio managers possess complete discretion to rebalance and adjust holdings as necessary, always within the bounds of maintaining its designated tax status. Consequently, investors should be aware that its performance may exhibit greater divergence (tracking error) from the direct returns of either the S&P 500 or Bitcoin.
