The fund typically allocates at least 80% of its total assets to investments in relatively small companies. For investment purposes, such companies are defined as those possessing a market capitalization not exceeding $1.5 billion at the time of acquisition, or those whose market value falls within the spectrum represented by the MSCI ACWI Small-Cap Index, whichever valuation is higher. The portfolio may include both domestic and international businesses without any geographic limitations. Additionally, the fund is authorized to purchase equity-linked certificates, provided they are issued or guaranteed by counterparties that hold an 'A' rating or better from either Moody's or S&P Corporation, or by entities deemed to be of equivalent financial standing by OAM.
