Columbia Global Strategic Equity Fund Institutional Class (NGPAX) Research

The fund aims to achieve significant growth of its capital for investors. It primarily accomplishes this by allocating the majority of its net assets to a selection of underlying mutual funds and exchange-traded funds (ETFs). These underlying investment vehicles are managed either by the fund's own Investment Manager or its affiliated firms (known as Columbia Funds), or by external third-party advisors. Typically, at least 80% of the fund's net assets are committed to equity-related investments. For the purpose of meeting this 80% requirement, equity securities are broadly defined to include common stocks, preferred stocks, instruments convertible into common stock, American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs), and shares of those underlying funds that primarily concentrate their investments in such equity instruments.
