The fund's primary objective is to achieve capital appreciation. Typically, at least 80% of its investment portfolio is dedicated to stocks and equity-linked instruments of mid-sized companies. The subadviser defines mid-cap companies as those whose market capitalization falls within the range of firms included in the Russell Midcap Index, with this assessment conducted at the time of initial investment. The majority of the fund's holdings are generally allocated to U.S. common stocks and other equity-based securities. This allocation may also encompass investments of up to 25% of its total assets in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs).
