BMO TCH Core Plus Bond Fund Class I Shares (MCBIX) Research
The BMO TCH Core Plus Bond Fund primarily aims to achieve the highest possible overall return while simultaneously generating a steady stream of income. The fund commits at least 80% of its total assets to fixed-income securities. Its diverse bond holdings include corporate debt, asset-backed securities (ABS), mortgage-backed securities (MBS), and obligations issued by the U.S. government. While the investment strategy largely concentrates on acquiring bonds that possess at least the lowest investment-grade rating when purchased, the fund maintains the flexibility to allocate up to 20% of its capital to debt instruments with sub-investment grade ratings, commonly known as high-yield or "junk" bonds.
