Janus Henderson Small-Mid Cap Value Fund (JVSCX) Research
This fund's primary goal is achieved by investing, under typical market conditions, at least 80% of its total assets (including any borrowed capital for investment purposes) in common shares of small and mid-sized companies. These companies are defined as those whose total market value is less than the trailing 12-month average of the largest company's market capitalization found within the Russell 2500™ Value Index. Additionally, should the portfolio managers believe that current market circumstances are unsuitable for investing, or if they cannot pinpoint compelling investment opportunities, the fund has the discretion to increase its holdings in cash or equivalent liquid assets.
