This fund generally commits a substantial portion, at least 80%, of its total net assets (inclusive of any borrowed capital utilized for investment) to fixed-income instruments. These bond holdings are quite varied, encompassing corporate debt obligations, government-issued notes and bonds, convertible securities, mortgage-backed securities (from both commercial and residential sectors), and zero-coupon bonds. The portfolio also includes corporate debt instruments from companies domiciled in numerous countries worldwide, which may include those located in the United States. Additionally, the fund has the discretion to invest up to 35% of its net assets in debt securities classified as high-yield or high-risk.
