The company manages the full scope of leather production, treatment, and commercialization. Furthermore, JBS produces industrial materials like steel cans, plastic resins, soap bases, biodiesel, glycerin, and various oleochemicals. Its activities also extend to industrial waste management, cold storage facilities, and the trade of commodities such as soybeans and tallow. The company is also involved in the production of pet food and concentrates, electric power generation and commercialization, managing distribution centers and port logistics, and offering transportation services. JBS supplies specialized items like beef jerky and dog biscuits, provides cattle fattening and warehousing services, and engages in the trade of processing by-products. Founded in 1953, JBS N.V. is based in Amstelveen, Netherlands.
