Founded in 1999, the firm was formerly known as MBAC Fertilizer Corp. before adopting its current name, Itafos Inc., in December 2016. Its corporate headquarters are located in Houston, Texas, and it functions as a subsidiary of CL Fertilizers Holding LLC.
