Transamerica Bond A (IDITX) Research
This fund primarily concentrates its investments in fixed-income securities. Typically, at least 80% of its net assets (including any funds borrowed for investment purposes) are allocated to these debt instruments. While predominantly investing in bonds, it retains the option to commit up to 30% of its net assets to speculative-grade debt, commonly known as 'junk bonds' due to their lower credit ratings. A smaller portion, not exceeding 5%, may also be invested in equity securities. The fund maintains a flexible strategy regarding interest rate risk, investing in securities across the entire maturity spectrum and not adhering to a predetermined average duration target.
