Hartford Global Impact Fund Class A (HGXAX) Research
The fund's primary objective is to generate substantial capital appreciation over an extended horizon. It endeavors to achieve this by allocating its portfolio to equity securities issued by companies operating globally. This includes investments in non-dollar denominated securities and those from developing economies. The fund also has the flexibility to acquire depositary receipts or other instruments convertible into shares of non-U.S. issuers. Additionally, it may, at times, maintain a portion of its assets in cash. Under typical market conditions, at least 40% of its net assets will be dedicated to foreign equities, or to derivative instruments and other investments providing exposure to international securities, originating from a minimum of three distinct countries beyond the U.S. borders.
