Herzfeld Credit Income Fund, Inc. (HERZ) Research
The Fund's primary objective is to optimize total returns relative to risk, with a secondary goal of distributing substantial current income to its shareholders. In line with a revised investment strategy, the Fund will now primarily allocate capital to the equity and junior debt components of Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs). These CLOs are structured investment vehicles composed mainly of U.S. senior secured loans rated below investment grade, sourced from a diverse population of individual borrowers across numerous industrial sectors.
