This fund aims to provide investors with a significant stream of income in the present, while simultaneously seeking to grow the invested capital over time. Its primary strategy involves investing in a portfolio of common stocks that typically offer appealing dividend payments and are identified by the sub-adviser as having strong prospects for an increase in value. Under usual market circumstances, at least 80% of the fund's total assets are dedicated to equity investments that pay dividends. Up to 20% of the fund's net assets may also be allocated to securities issued by companies outside the United States or those not denominated in U.S. dollars.
