Getlink SE (GRPTF) Research
Getlink SE is primarily engaged in the development, funding, construction, and management of fixed transport infrastructure and associated systems. The company's operations are divided into three core divisions: Eurotunnel, Europorte, and ElecLink. The Eurotunnel segment oversees the three approximately 50-kilometer tunnels located under the English Channel, alongside their respective terminals in Folkestone, UK, and Coquelles, France. This division facilitates the transit of various road vehicles, including trucks, cars, motor homes, and motorcycles, via its shuttle services, and also manages high-speed passenger and rail freight traffic, along with all related fixed equipment and facilities. Europorte provides a full spectrum of integrated rail freight services, encompassing domestic and international haulage, local services for secondary lines, individual junction oversight, infrastructure upkeep, and wagon loading and unloading. The ElecLink division is responsible for building and operating a 1-gigawatt electrical interconnector linking the United Kingdom and France. Beyond these primary activities, Getlink SE also participates in third-party retail, telecommunications cabling, training initiatives, real estate ventures, and the sale of travel insurance. Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Paris, France, the company rebranded from Groupe Eurotunnel S.E. to Getlink SE in April 2018.
