First Trust Bloomberg Inflation Sensitive Equity ETF (FTIF) Research

The First Trust Bloomberg Inflation Sensitive Equity ETF (referred to as the "Fund") aims to mirror the performance of a specific equity benchmark, the Bloomberg Inflation Sensitive Equity Index. Its primary objective is to closely track the price movements and income generated by this index, prior to deducting any operational costs. Under typical market conditions, a minimum of 80% of the Fund's net assets—including any funds borrowed for investment purposes—will be allocated to the common stocks that constitute this Index. Employing an indexing investment approach, the Fund endeavors to replicate the overall total return of the Index, which encompasses all dividends distributed by its constituent common stocks, before accounting for its own expenses and fees. Generally, a full replication strategy is utilized, meaning the Fund holds every security present in the Index in proportions that mirror their respective weightings. Bloomberg Index Services Limited holds the responsibility for the development, maintenance, and sponsorship of this underlying index.
