Under ordinary market circumstances, this fund dedicates at least 80% of its total investment pool—which includes both its net assets and any borrowed capital—to the common shares of small-capitalization businesses. A small-capitalization company is defined as one whose market value falls within the market capitalization bracket of the constituents of the Russell 2000® Index, with that range being established on the final business day of the month in which the index last underwent its reconstitution.
