This division's portfolio additionally includes other specialized maritime craft, such as cable-laying vessels and various types of ferries, as well as the development of unmanned vessel technologies. Fincantieri's Equipment, Systems, and Infrastructure division delivers a broad spectrum of offerings. These include sophisticated energy generation and storage systems, such as integrated electrical, electronic, and electromechanical solutions, in addition to entertainment systems. It also provides critical vessel components like stabilization, propulsion, positioning, and power generation systems, including steam turbines. This segment excels in designing and integrating systems with a strong emphasis on automation, cybersecurity, telecommunications, and critical infrastructure solutions. Beyond its marine applications, this division undertakes the design, construction, and assembly of substantial steel structures for major infrastructure projects, spanning bridges, viaducts, airports, port facilities, maritime and hydraulic engineering works, and extensive commercial and industrial complexes. Furthermore, Fincantieri extends its expertise to a variety of supplementary services. These comprise comprehensive dry-dock management, robust engineering, project, and supply chain management, as well as information technology consulting. The company also handles the sale and post-sale support for mechanical products, offers maintenance for marine diesel engines, and engages in technological research and development. Ancillary offerings encompass ship accommodation services and the chartering of various marine vessels, such as boats, ships, and barges.
