Its portfolio may consist of Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS), other ETFs primarily focused on TIPS, or conventional U.S. Treasury securities. When an inflationary environment is anticipated, the adviser directs the fund's assets into TIPS or TIPS-centric ETFs. Conversely, should the adviser foresee a deflationary period, the portfolio then gravitates towards broader U.S. Treasury securities.
