This fund primarily allocates its portfolio to a combination of common and preferred equities, alongside a diverse selection of fixed-income securities. It also possesses the discretion to invest in various pooled investment vehicles, such as domestic and international mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), closed-end funds, and unit investment trusts. A fundamental allocation rule stipulates that investments in equity securities, whether direct or through underlying funds focused on equities, will not exceed 50% of its net assets. Correspondingly, a minimum of 50% of its net assets will be committed to fixed-income instruments.
