The fund typically dedicates a significant portion—at least 80%—of its total assets (including any capital borrowed for investment purposes) to debt instruments issued by both U.S. and international corporations. These holdings include various types of fixed income securities, such as corporate bonds, collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), mortgage-backed and other asset-backed securities, and structured notes engineered to possess economic characteristics similar to traditional debt. The portfolio may also incorporate callable bonds, along with other debt instruments offering either a consistent (fixed) or variable (floating) interest rate, or those where interest is accrued (paid in-kind) or disbursed upon the bond's maturity.
